Save the Date for our Back to School Family Picnic!

Please join us Thursday, September 12, 5:30-7:00PM  on the 3rd-5th playground for a back to school bash! Put on your AFES Spirit Wear, bring a picnic and blanket, and spend some time with your Shooting Stars Family! Kona Ice will be available for purchase. The AFHS Cheer and Dance Teams will be there to kickoff a schoolwide pep rally at 6:15PM! Please bring a non-perishable food item to support Western Wake Crisis Ministry.

STEM ITEMS NEEDED:

Please send in all of your empty cereal and tissue boxes with your students for upcoming STEM projects. Thank you!!! 

Running Stars Run Club Fall Season:

Running Stars is back again for Fall 2024!! Please register your student by September 8: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeteZGKRW6bHrFWG4Q2FhFAeezGCFx0Mm-KJnJciV2PhfA4KQ/viewform 

This is an active, healthy club for students who like to run, jog, walk, and improve their physical fitness, while also building friendship and camaraderie amongst the entire school community. We welcome all students grades K-5!

The club will meet on Friday mornings from 8:00-8:45 a.m. at the Apex Friendship Elementary back field and track. Students are to be dropped off at the field with a Run Club representative at 7:50 a.m. Students will be escorted to the school building at 8:45 a.m. Club communication, updates, and announcements will be handled via email.

Start Date: Friday, September 13, 2024 (weather permitting)

End Date: Friday, November 22, 2024
